Research abstract

Argo Space Corp is developing Argonaut, a refuellable, high-deltaV in-space transport vehicle with a dual mode propulsion system using water propellant. Argonaut enables both tactically responsive space operations, with its high thrust electrolysis propulsion system, and sustainable theatre-setting and contested logistics capabilities with its high efficiency MET propulsion. Argonauts are space-resident, nominally pre-positioned in LEO for commercial transport missions, and can be flexibly tasked to respond to dynamic DoD needsáon orbit. Equipped with an RPOD capabilities for on-orbit payload pickup and transport, Argonauts provide a new level of flexibility to respond to any threat, in any orbit.
