Research abstract
AmerichanvreĀisĀseeking funding to make improvements to the spray applied hempcrete system to increaseĀthe commercialization potential and ease of deployment.Ā Our raw materials are currently imported from France;Āwe are seeking to develop a domestic supply for the binder and wall finishes specific to the spray application system.Ā Also, weĀare seeking to condense the equipment array into a mobile unit for ease of deployment and transition to military and civilian contractors. Americhanvre proposesĀto engage with a consortium of sub-contractors with whom we have prior work experience specific to our spray applied hempcrete method.Ā The majority of our proposed research aims are topics that we haveĀbegun to explore with our own financing for which this funding would allow us to expand quicklyĀon our efforts.Ā In continuing to formally verify the performance characteristics of our spray application methodology, we are contributing to the re-establishment of theĀfiber industrial hemp industry and providing a solution for carbon sequestration at scale.
