Research abstract

During flight testing of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) all UAS must be continually monitored. The main objective of this project is to perform a feasibility study for a government specific tracking system that can send GNSS information from the UAS to ground using out-of-band (OOB) frequency ranges; those not in the ISM bands or those not used by commercial UAS.
