Research abstract

[CUI] A quick survey of news literature indicates that the 777 is a critical asset in the Ukraine conflict. However, recent supply numbers indicate that these assets are no longer being made available for delivery. Therefore, it is critical in modern warfare to be able to locally repair and restore barrel platforms to maintain mission readiness. From a Defense perspective, the outcome of this Catalyst enhancement will be fully fielded repair robotic crawling systems capable of repairing a barrel asset in less than one day back to at least 50% of its original life. From a broader commercial perspective, the technology developed here can have wide-ranging implications on the ability to repair restore oil & gas pipelines, steam pipes, and nuclear reactor vessels - all critical assets that currently are replaced at end of life with substantial potential waste cost and risk to human life. Therefore, this critical dual use technology has wide-ranging impact on the repair and restoration of ALL American Assets.
