Research abstract

The scope of this work will be to develop the ground segment of the WxSat mission with novel cloud-based data delivery and processing techniques as well as provide the associated pre- and post-launch support. This SBIR II effort focuses on supporting the development of a data system to timely deliver data from the AFRL WeatherSat (WxSat) to end users via GovCloud. This will be accomplished by integrating a novel architecture of multiple CONUS and OCONUS ground stations via a GovCloud based scheduling and data routing system. RBC Signals will procure and use materials needed for extended RF compatibility testing of the end novel architecture. RBC Signals will provide necessary pre and post launch activities to enable the full demonstration of the novel architecture including expanded licensing services, GovCloud hosting services, rehearsal and operational testing, ATO and Cybersecurity approvals, and RF communication services.
