Research abstract

SPARK Neuro’s EEG-based, TBI Tracker monitors warfighter brain health, facilitates steps to reduce the impact of head injuries, and helps to maintain the fitness of our military’s most exposed personnel. Developed in collaboration with Mayo Clinic, the world’s most prestigious medical institution, SPARK Neuro’s fieldable TBI Tracker will allow for rapid, point-of-care evaluation and monitoring of Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), concussions, and the accumulation of damage from repetitive head impacts. Combining modern machine learning with decades of neuroscience research, the TBI Tracker uses SPARK Neuro’s artificial intelligence platform to unlock the full potential of EEG for brain injury evaluation. With the push of a button, the tool automatically runs the test protocols and in a matter of seconds, generates an easy-to-understand report. Better monitoring of head trauma will allow for more effective decisions about returning to service.
