Research abstract

The Joint Reprogramming Enterprise (JRE) lab is tasked with compiling collections of updated intel and sensor signals into threat libraries and is seeking innovative solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy. Intelligent Artifacts has developed an information processing software system capable of learning contextual information in real-time from multiple sensory feeds. Intelligent Artifacts’ overall Technical Objective for Phase II is to enhance the collective capabilities of intel resources and JRE lab engineers to reduce errors in, and the time it takes to generate threat libraries and therefore provide mission data files (MDF) with higher efficacy to benefit the joint strike fighter pilot. In this Phase II, Intelligent Artifacts will 1) Alleviate disparities in equipment list data formats through data conversion of incoming data to Intelligent Artifacts’ universal input data format; 2) Create human-readable/editable automatic updates to sensor engineered libraries based on new intel; 3) Using test harness output, detect anomalies in MDF, conduct predictive analytics, identify key indicators, and automatically score performance. Our overall project deliverable is a working prototype system demonstrating our software-based solution’s three relevant capabilities listed above.
