Research abstract

The current Truenumber (TN) system is an advanced prototype partially addressing requirements of Navy SBIR 25.4 Release 5 - Topic N254-D08.  Standing on this past performance will make the current Phase II effort efficient, low risk, able to exceed requirements to achieve a transition-ready capability.   Our objectives are: (1) “productizing” the existing system to support warfighting users, systems and developers with a transition-ready TN capability.  Productization includes filling in capability and usability gaps outlined below, and developing necessary documentation, tools, procedures and training materials. In addition, compatibility with Postgres will be implemented in order to better integrate with current systems and data protocols based on Postgres.  (2) TN's data language has intrinsic graph structure.  Integrating a graph database such as NEO4J within TN will allow TN data to be processed and visualized using graph-based tools and analytics.  (3) Language-Oriented Data is uniquely suited to Large Language Models.  We will integrate a LLM into TN to support intelligent query, discovery and analysis as part of its user interface.(4) Focus will be on two application areas:    - COP monitoring and track management for C2 including track data, weapons loadouts and status from AEGIS combat systems, OTH Gold, CTM, etc.       - Modernizing maintenance systems such as OOMA and NARD.     Application development will incorporate requirements and feedback from stakeholder organizations including NAVWAR, COMPACFLT, STRATCOM and NAVAIR.   Participation in exercises will provide field testing as well.
