Research abstract

The Solid Fuel Ramjet servo throttle strategies herein proposed promise to provide for fine control of solid fuel grain regression while ensuring stable flame holding and uniform airflow impedance through the throttle settings so as not to disrupt the inlet shock system. Additional strategies promise to attenuate the combustor acoustics that have been known to adversely interact with the flame holding physics specific to SFRJ thermodynamics.
