Research abstract

Triton Systems and our team proposes to continue development a novel, affordable, lightweight fin to increase high-speed interceptor maneuverability. We will demonstrate through proven analytical techniques and high-fidelity modeling that our fin offers performance benefits over current state-of-the-art systems in the high hypersonic regime. We will show that our fin can withstand the structural and thermal rigors of high-speed flight. We will demonstrate that our fin design can be compactly stowed and deployed upon command in a representative environment. Approved for Public Release | 20-MDA-10643 (3 Dec 20)
