Research abstract

Homogeneous software applications employed throughout NORTHCOM pose a huge opportunity for adversaries to scale exploits within the defense ecosystem. Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) applications specifically pose a huge attack vector due to the large reliance on open source components containing publicly disclosable vulnerabilities. ARMS is providing solutions around novel zero vulnerability technology to embed binary micropatching and diversification at the last stage of the DevOps pipeline, hardening programs from known vulnerabilities while providing unprecedented proactive protection from zero day threats. ARMS will help software developers minimize their time fixing vulnerabilities, while ensuring high assurance and security of UAS applications, resulting in more efficient, rapid, and reliable development of code critical to mission success.
