Research abstract

In the digital information age, data must be shared between systems automatically, securely and effortlessly in order to keep pace with our adversaries. We must be able to get the right information in right hands at the right time. Unfortuntately, this is often not the case, more typcially our operational data is held hostage in our existing legacy system with no way to share the data in a machine to machine manner with other users or applications. This effort will create a SOCOM specific instance of Space Forces Unified Data Library and demonstrate how SOCOM specific data can be integrated into the SOCOM UDL. This effort will also demonstrate the benefits of the UDL as an open platform agnostic data management solution enabling any enterprise end user or end user application to quickly discover available data, customize data delivery for their purpose and consume the data they need to achieve their objectives.
