A Multifunctional Hypersonic Leading Edge with Integrated Thermal Management

In response to NASA SBIR FY 2018 topic A1.10, Hypersonic Technology, ThermAvant Technologies, LLC (ThermAvant) proposes to develop a high temperature, conformal thermal-mechanical leading edge skin for hypersonic aircraft. The proposed structure will provide high temperature, high heat flux acquisition and dissipation, as well as providing the structural integrity required to meet mission objectives. ThermAvant#39;s research team will demonstrate the proposed concepts and innovations through design, manufacturing and laboratory testing.
