Research abstract

This Phase I SBIR focuses on the prediction of neutron radiation effects on human health using advanced machine learning techniques and comprehensive data integration. The proposed system includes standardized protocols for metadata assimilation, statistical models for data extrapolation, and novel deep learning architectures to model complex neutron radiation interactions and their effects across biological targets. The Phase I effort will focus on the development of a comprehensive database of radiobiological data and its integration with a predictive model for neutron RBE prediction in humans across varying exposures. The team will benefit from its ample experience in the areas of deep learning networks, data science, and neutron radiobiology.
