Research abstract

Commercial portable oxygen concentrators do not provide high enough oxygen delivery rates for many respiratory illnesses such as stationary home care units (5 LPM), which are too bulky (up to 50 lbs) and non-battery operated. TDA is developing its mini-POC, a light weight-compact POC which uses TDA’s novel oxygen concentrator technology to concentrate oxygen out of the air. The miniPOC weighs less than 10 lbs with batteries and can generate 5 LPM of medical grade oxygen. At the 5 LPM setting, the device can operate continuously for 2 hours while on its batteries.
