Research abstract

The key objective of the Phase II Sequential project is to develop and demonstrate a fully-autonomous,nbsp;large-scale hydrogen recovery and compression system that can be used as a modular building block to reclaim and compress a substantial portion of SSCrsquo;s hydrogen. Specific goals for the Phase II Sequential program effort are:Improve in-cell and stack water management, along with flow distribution between cell stack assemblies, to advance autonomous operation of the HECSIncrease hydrogen recovery from about 83% to gt;95%These objectives will be accomplished through the upgrade of the existing system that will subsequently be returned to SCC at the conclusion of the Phase IIE effort
