Research abstract

Dt/DTw’s are used to evaluate performance of aircraft and their subsystems, such as propulsion, and air frames. As an analyst interacts with digital threads large amounts of data are aggregated to assess performance and identify root causes for any issues or deviations between the Dt/DTw and its operational counterpart. The SAPS-DT technology will provide Secure Access to Propulsion Systems – Digital Threads (SAPS-DT) to meet security classification challenges with aggregated data when performing Dt/DTw analysis. SAPS-DT will help Dt/DTw to reduce total ownership costs, reduce design time, and improve performance by securely aggregating large amounts of aircraft maintenance and digital thread data to determine root causes of maintenance issues. The Engine Propulsion program is interested in applying this technology to the Dt/DTw environment to address security concerns with information aggregation.
