Research abstract

Phase II will scale-up and optimize the baseline process fabrication process of flexible and foldable OLED displays using CNT TFT backplanes in sufficiently large quantity for desired application demonstrations, while maintaining cost effectiveness for potential implementation. Fabricate two to three 11"× 17" Collapsible Electronic Paper Display prototypes for evaluation. These prototypes will be evaluated to determine capability in meeting the performance goals defined in the Phase II development plan and the Marine Corps requirements for the “Electronic Paper” Collapsible Electronic Display. Prototype performance will be demonstrated through bench top and field environment evaluations over the required range of parameters. Evaluation results will be used to refine the prototype into an initial design that will meet Marine Corps requirements.
