Open Call for Innovative Defense-Related Dual-Purpose Technologies/Solutions with a Clear Air Force Stakeholder Need

The objective of this proposal is create a scalable and data-driven technical solution that will increase the fitness and overall health of service members, using advanced mobile and wearable technology. The initial application of the technology could be focused on Reserve service members who have long periods of time between fitness testing. FitRankings has developed a universal platform for wearable and mobile technology (Garmin, Apple Health, GoogleFit, Fitbit, etc.) and built software tools to allow: 1.) Creation and management of organizations’ digital fitness at scale. 2.) Tools for the creation and launch of digital fitness challenges. 3.) Simple reporting for administrators with comprehensive analytics including CDC-based metrics for health (met-minutes). In addition to technical products and solutions, FitRankings has developed best practices for driving positive fitness outcomes within organizations. FitRankings has worked with the largest Police Force in the United States (Broward Sheriff’s Office), large corporations (H-E-B), and non-profit organizations (American Heart Association).
