Research abstract
Plugnix Connect enables off-the-shelf Android devices (unrooted) to tether to tactical radios and use the radio network by Android applications such as ATAK. Plugnix Connect enables the exchange of information across radio networks and provides reliable connectivity to the tactical edge. This is done by the creation of an application that can be installed on any Android device and implements the radio driver running as an application.
