The purpose of this project is to expand upon the existing footprint of Laredo C29 Checkpoint located on I-35(N) at mile marker 29, Laredo Texas. The projected requirements; continue with the marketing survey for land purchase; accomplish a traffic study; confer and lease necessary Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) land; and purchase land for said checkpoint; accomplish an environmental assessment; accomplish programming, design, and construction of said facility. Design-Build a renovation and expansion at the Border Patrol Checkpoint in the Laredo Sector, in Laredo, Texas. The new checkpoint will have 16 primary inspection lanes to include 7 existing lanes and 9 new lanes and associated elements required to operate the checkpoint facility. This requirement will be competitively awarded under the Design-Build OB# IDIQ contract.
