Research abstract

The objective of this Phase II SBIR effort is for Braxton Technologies, LLC (Braxton) to expand the Common Simulation Environment (CSE) prototype system created in Phase I of the SBIR to add additional functionality and capabilities which will progress the CSE solution to an operational system.Braxton will use our expertise and existing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products to expand the SBIR to produce a CSE that will allow both the factory bus/payload integration and operational Telemetry, Tracking & Commanding (TT&C) systems to integrate quickly and effectively.Braxton will then expand the CSE to add more functionality in order to provide an end-to-end verification and validation testbed of an Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) environment. In addition, Braxton will expand the ability to create common telemetry and command definition capabilities easily and effectively. Finally, Braxton will expand the CSE to leverage the same TT&C systems used within operations and seamlessly integrate those systems with Integration and Test (I&T) and with a high fidelity electrical and functional representation of the spacecraft bus (FlatSat) in a factory setting.
