Research abstract

The objective of this effort will be to deliver a wearable device that uses dehydration biomarkers in sweat to determine the dehydration level of an individual, and wirelessly broadcast that information to a phone or similar device for real time or near real time display. The biomarkers will be measured using electrochemical aptamer-based (EAB) sensing, and an algorithm will create a dehydration assessment based on the biomarkers.
