Research abstract

The goal of this subsequent Phase II project is to develop low-loss sharp-rejection tunable filters in the 1-20 GHz frequency range. We will first explore several candidate approaches. We will then develop a full breadboard demonstration at the end of Year 1. In Year 2, we will develop and deliver a prototype for laboratory by the Navy. In the Option first year, we will develop a mission specific advanced prototype. In Option Year 2, we will develop and deliver an advanced prototype for at-sea testing by the Navy and conduct environmental testing of key portions of the technology.
