Research abstract

R-DEX Systems, Inc. (R-DEX) proposes to build on its successful Phase II and partner with its strategic partner to develop an advanced IoT-driven solution tailored for the Army’s modernization priorities. Leveraging proven technologies, this project aims to deliver real-time, actionable insights across a diverse array of Army assets including vehicle fleets, facilities, microgrids, and complex supply chains. The system is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Army operations, providing enhanced situational awareness, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization to support both clean energy initiatives and the modernization of the Organic Industrial Base (OIB). A pilot implementation at Red River Army Depot (RRAD) will be performed to validate the platform’s performance, establishing a foundation for broader Army-wide adoption. With a clear pathway for transition to full-scale Army deployment and significant commercial potential across industries such as logistics, transportation, and energy, this collaborative effort not only addresses immediate defense needs but also positions the technology for expansive market adoption and sustained innovation.
