Research abstract

Building on the strategic framework of Boyd's Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act (OODA) Loop, Yurts is set to extend its existingplatform to support the rapid and adaptive decision-making required in MDO. YurtsÆ Platform already has the majority of theinfrastructure in place to address the challenges of COA development in MDO. Yurts is actively deployed within militaryenvironments, including its work with U.S. Army TRADOC on the ODIN platform, which hosts comprehensive strategy anddoctrine information as well as the Worldwide Equipment Guide (WEG). This infrastructure provides a solid foundation forextending and enhancing COA-GPTÆs capabilities.áYurts is designed to securely handle large-scale, mission-critical data in real-time, making it well-suited to the demands ofMDO. Its platform supports secure, on-premise deployments, including edge deployments in austere environments, or cloud-based environments, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards (Impact Levels 2, 4, 5, and 6). Yurts also integratesseamlessly with military systems, enabling access to real-time data from multiple domains (air, land, sea, space, and cyber)while maintaining operational security. Building on this infrastructure, Yurts will enhance COA-GPT in the following ways:áReal-Time Data Integration via Function CallingSimulation Support through Connected SystemsAdaptive Feedback LoopsMultimodal Data Handling:Secure and Scalable DeploymentExtensible Tools for Cross-Domain OperationsBy leveraging YurtsÆ existing capabilitiesùsuch as real-time function calling, multimodal data processing, secure deployments, and simulation supportùthis extended solution will significantly enhance COA-GPT. It will enable real-time, adaptive, andmulti-domain-aware COA development and METT-TC analysis, ensuring commanders have the information and tools theyneed to make effective decisions in the fast-paced, complex environment of MDO.
