Research abstract

Solential Energy, a 16 year old microgrid engineering and innovation company that is set to close 30 million dollars in revenue this year, has found thatáeffective management and optimization of microgrids, particularly for the DoD and commercial customers, remains challenging due to fluctuating energy prices, demand surges from natural disasters, and inconsistent availability of energy supply. Solential Energy proposes to determine the feasibility and find market fit within the CDAO for an AI-Driven Microgrid Controller we call AI Controller Technology Optimized for Resilience, or "ACTOR" to offer a solution designed to optimize microgrid performance, accurately predict energy needs, and automate capacity callouts. It will utilize generative AI to synthesize historical data and real-time analytics to ensure efficient energy generation, storage, and demand forecasting.á
