Research abstract

Paratus eliminates the admin burden of managing personnel readiness so soldiers can focus their full attention on mission-critical work. Our AI platform synthesizes data from disparate systems to automatically generate readiness profiles, diagnose deployment status, schedule tasks, and analyze data. Paratus drives readiness improvements and allows soldiers to deploy more quickly and confidently.ááPersonnel readiness is essential for all military operations, yet the information systems used to track requirements are siloed and inconsistent. Previous research found that 25% of members are currently missing their monthly readiness goals due to the inefficient management of this data. Amid the Great Power Competition, the DoD can't afford to jeopardize readiness. It's vital that units have modern tools to quickly respond and accurately prepare for uncertain threats.ááParatus acts as an AI action layer that automates repetitive tasks and streamlines daily decision-making. By aggregating systems of record and combining real-time task completion data, Paratus is building a unified dataset that enables the use of LLMs to enhance existing systems.ááThis proposal aligns with multiple CDAO focus areas, especially ôAutonomy and Mobility of DoD systemsö. Managing daily readiness in legacy systems is cumbersome and doesn't allow for rapid decision making; Paratus leverages LLMs to automate manual tasks, optimize mission planning, and consolidate the information for more effective deployments.á
