Research abstract

Throughout DOD, tactical commanders spend significant amounts of time and effort gathering disparate information and navigating redundant tasks while conducting mission planning. Merge Plot, in partnership with Claritee.AI, has developed the Advanced Tactical Leadership Assistance System (ATLAS) tool. ATLAS is an AI-driven technology that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of mission planning through integration of disparate data, automation of redundant tasks, and synthesis of lessons learned. ATLAS has the capability to empower small unit leaders at the network edge, reduce planning time by over 75%, and enhance operational risk management.
