Research abstract
Atolio proposes to develop an AI-powered enterprise search platform tailored to Platform One’s dynamic DevSecOps environment. Platform One supports rapid software delivery for mission-critical programs like ABMS and Defensive Cyber Operations, but suffers from fragmented knowledge systems and high personnel turnover. These challenges result in significant inefficiencies, with staff spending hundreds of hours navigating tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack to find essential information.Through this D2P2 effort, Atolio will adapt its platform to unify and streamline knowledge access across Platform One’s Kubernetes-based AWS GovCloud infrastructure. The R&D focus will be on building custom connectors for Keycloak, Confluence, and Jira—enabling full content indexing, identity mapping, and seamless integration. These connectors will support natural language queries powered by LLMs, allowing users to quickly retrieve relevant insights from siloed data sources. The platform will also meet IL2/IL5 compliance and Iron Bank security standards, ensuring suitability for deployment in high-security environments.Atolio was one of four companies selected during Platform One’s competitive pitch day to prototype a solution for reducing information loss and accelerating user support. This Phase II effort will deliver validated integrations, expanded LLM functionality using Amazon Bedrock, robust role-based access controls, and a working demonstration in a simulated operational setting.By centralizing institutional knowledge and enabling secure, real-time discovery, Atolio’s platform will reduce search time, enhance onboarding, and support operational continuity across high-turnover, information-intensive Air Force environments.
