Research abstract

MillenWorks proposes to develop a high fidelity mathematical model that will simulate the dynamic performance of a track system on a track-laying vehicle. This model will be used to develop tension control algorithms for an active track tensioner and to produce performance objectives for the active track tensioner. A prototype tensioner will be designed, built and tested using these performance objectives.
