Research abstract

UVCleaning Systems will develop a greywater remediation and recycling system for Army kitchen sanitation centers by combining COTS pre-filtration and ultrafiltration technologies, to reliably reduce all greywater contaminant concentrations except BOD to within the requirements of the solicitation, together with a new UVCleaning Systems photocatalytic reactor following the ultrafiltration membrane element to reduce the BOD concentration to within the requirements of the solicitation. The photocatalytic reactor is lightweight, does not have any moving or replaceable parts and has a multi-year lifetime, and no chemicals are added to the water during processing.
