Research abstract

The research and development effort described in this proposal is intended to provide a basis for the production of advanced RF scene generation software by supplying one of the key components in the scene generation process, the target signatures. The development of beamforming RF munitions sensors operating at frequencies between X-band and 800 GHz will require scene generation software designed to work within that frequency regime. Many components of the integrated capability already exist; however, there are no currently existing target signature prediction codes that satisfy the requirements for advanced munitions sensor simulations. This proposal outlines a software development plan to solve that problem.
