Research abstract

An approach to anti-tamper volume protection using the idea we developed in Phase I in using a sensor wrapper to detect physical tamper events for protection of Critical Program Information (CPI). Any attempt to remove the wrapper enclosure will trigger erasure or zeroization of critical memory elements within the circuit. The focus is to fabricate an AT prototype device with the sensor and evaluate it characteristics (environmental and functional) as it relates to a specific threat where together the wrapper and AT Device can mitigate such a threat. This information will be used in the Integration plan of the Prime contractors for insertion into their programs.
