Research abstract

Sparktronics proposes an innovative high frequency oscillator based on non-linear dielectrics. The system will combine the previously developed tunable high frequency pulse generators with a non-linear transmission lumped element line. During Phase I an analysis of material properties will be completed and a NLTL oscillator designed manufactured and tested with at least 10kV output voltage in the range 500MHz to 1GHz. Phase II will focus on extending this capability to the 100kV level.
