Research abstract

SET Corporation, an industry leader in multi-sensor information processing, proposes the development of a real-time video exploitation capability for small UAVs engaged in persistent surveillance. SET will assess and demonstrate the potential for standalone real-time operation of its algorithms for detection, tracking, and stabilization. SET is teamed with Applied Research Associates, Inc., developers of the Nighthawk small UAV system. SET and ARA will evaluate performance using EO/IR video from Nighthawk surveillance flights and develop a technology integration and enhancement plan for achieving end-to-end surveillance demonstrations during Phase II.
