Research abstract

Cross Platform Digital Rights Management (CP-DRM) is essential for protecting sensitive digital information even after it has been released to a third party. What is needed to achieve this goal is a cross-platform, non-intrusive Digital Rights Management technology that can achieve this end with minimal restriction of the receiver’s rights. This Phase I SBIR effort is devoted to studying available and potential methods to implement a non-intrusive, platform-independent DRM technology. The findings from this work are expected to set the stage for developing the design and architecture requirements documents that will inform downstream implementation.
