Research abstract
Signature Analytics LLC proposes to conduct a 6-month study on the optimiation methodology for weapon-target-allocation in missil defense engagement planning and battle management. We plan to examine the weapon allocation problem, formulate mathematically the optimization objective function and parametric constraints, search for existing applicable linear programming methods, assess their suitability and determine the modification needed to adapt the methods to this missile defense application.
