Research abstract

Our goal of this Phase II STTR is to commercialize a platform technology of non-metallic cathodes, named polyCath, to replace air/moisture sensitive metal cathodes. These metals require a rigorous barrier encapsulation to assure device operation and longevity and require vacuum processing. Encapsulation is a major obstacle to reliable, long-lived and low-cost OLED based displays.
