Research abstract

The need for an integrated filter that can be used on the imaging head of missles has been presented. Reynard Corporation successfully proved during Phase I that a filter meeting all of the stringent specifications can be met, which include a small footprint to specific dimensions, a gradient density filter meeting the curved requirements of the systems FOV, and a NBP filter to block out unwanted wavelengths. These filters will now be manufactured and tested using specially designed tooling and process.
