Research abstract

Negative Index Material (NIM) effects have been demonstrated in the microwave region but no NIM has been made that operates in the visible or near IR on nonlinear substrates. Researchers at Dymas Research propose an innovative integrated solution to develop NIM in the infrared range on nonlinear substrates. Our novel approach overcomes the drawbacks and limitations in conventional approach. To fabricate our proposed NIMs, we can use standard semiconductor processing technology, including photolithography instead of e-beam lithography.
