Research abstract

Triton Systems proposes to develop a novel system for the capture and neutralization of biological warfare agents that can be easily incorporated into filters or liners currently used in HVAC systems. In the Phase I program, Triton demonstrated significant improvements in the efficacy of capture and neutralization of Bacillus globigii spores in an aerosol chamber using air-filter substrates treated with our proposed technology. The Phase II program will involve optimization of the efficacy, and validation of the proposed approach in a model HVAC system.
