Research abstract

The objective of this program is to investigate the insertion of reactive materials into the MKV program in order to achieve weight/cost reduction while maintaining enhanced lethality effectiveness. Several materials synthesis techniques are proposed as well as key property characterization measurements. In addition close technical interaction with the prime MKV contractor is intended in order to identify (a) key experimental evaluation and (b) best method of technology insertion into the MKV hardware program.
