Research abstract

This project aims to develop an innovative Joint Track Management (JTM) Data Synchronization System to address data inconsistency issues between the AEGIS Weapons System (AWS) Track Server and Source Managers. The proposed solution will ensure real-time synchronization of track data across AWS components through a non-invasive, automated approach. Key components include a queryable interface, local track data cache, translation layer for schema reconciliation, data sync routine, and action engine for automated discrepancy resolution. The research will focus on designing a lightweight, portable system that can seamlessly integrate with existing Source Managers to automate data consistency checks, detect discrepancies, and synchronize information. The proof-of-concept will validate the feasibility of maintaining high-fidelity track data synchronization without disrupting live operations. Performance metrics like latency, accuracy, and conflict resolution effectiveness will be evaluated.
