Research abstract

SpaceWorks Enterprises Inc. (SEI) will mature the In-Space Assembly Antenna Concept (ISAAC) in a Phase II SBIR effort. ISAAC is a system to robotically assemble modular, reconfigurable, and scalable truss structures in space. The baseline payload is an Electronically Steered Array antenna. The focus of the proposed Phase II effort is in the design maturation of the key subsystem components and the ground demonstration of a robotically-assembled subscale prototype to derisk critical system functions.
