Research abstract

The proposed effort will develop, test, and fly a sensor suite onboard Kratos’ Hypervelocity Test Bed, dubbed “Erinyes”. The goal of this effort is to characterize seeker window performance in situ and telemeter relevant data to the ground, prior to loss. The proposed effort will select and customize various technologies from our Aero-Optics Kit, developed specifically for this purpose and proven at multiple ground test facilities including the Mach 7 high-enthalpy leg of AEDC’s Tunnel 9.
