Research abstract
As cyber threats grow in sophistication and scale, securing software supply chains and ensuring the delivery of up-to-date andsecure software to warfighters becomes paramount. Leveraging DevSecOps (DSO) pipelines offers a solution by automatingthe delivery of hardened software, enabling continuous updates and upgrades. However, ensuring security in DSOenvironments requires addressing vulnerabilities introduced by open-source dependencies and evolving attack surfaces.Hunted Labs proposes an automated DSO pipeline solution, integrating their software ACE (Automated Code Enforcement), toenhance cybersecurity practices within the software supply chain. By embedding ACE into DSO pipelines, Hunted Labs aims toenforce best practices, secure mission-critical software, and reduce time to remediate vulnerabilities. Continuous monitoringof software artifacts, such as Software Bill of Materials and vulnerability scans, throughout the pipeline ensures ongoingassessment of cyber risks associated with delivered software, ultimately enabling the US Space Force to achieve softwaredominance in the cyber domain.
