Research abstract

This study aims to determine how to establish connectivity between the SDA Transport Layer and an unmanned aircraft traveling at high-Mach speeds. The special characteristics of high-Mach flight, such as high temperatures, pose challenges for incorporation into the Transport Layer and result in a technology gap for enabling LEO Satcom for hypersonic aircraft which needs to be addressed.
