Research abstract

To address the Air Force’s vital and urgent need for assured communications in forward deployed bases to meet real-time requirements and counter any threats from near-peer adversaries like China and Russia. With the TRABUS communications platform, warfighters can instantly deploy a communications and data network with waveform agility using a novel peer-to-peer wireless technology. TRABUS will deliver a module that will enable radios to reconfigure waveforms, denying an adversary the ability to identify or exploit US Air Force communications.
