Research abstract

The Open Science Communication and Review (OSCAR) platform serves as a “middle ground” between traditional academic journals and informal scientific networks. OSCAR provides new tools for communicating, curating, discovering, analyzing, and sharing scientific knowledge.  OSCAR improves public access to research and incentivizes stakeholder behaviors that improve the scientific ecosystem while discouraging negative behaviors.  OSCAR also offers value-added services that enable commercial success (semantic search, alerts, discovery, matching, etc).
